As a Human Services Practitioner I am charged with the duty and responsibility of using best practice to help clients in pre-crisis situations, crisis and/or chronic situations when they feel the need for professional help and guidance, and to be an advocate for those in need of services. This help may include counseling, referrals to community and social service agencies, anger management and ongoing support. These situations may include the loss of a job or income, the loss of a spouse, family member, friend or pet, the need for food or housing, or for help getting out of a dangerous situation. For other people the issue may be the result of an internal challenge such as depression, a physical ailment or disability or other mental or physical health.
I am committed to improving the overall quality of life for all clients by providing guidance and the creation of a life plan to move forward with their lives, and rediscovering their personal power and self-sufficiency.
